Whenever I find the chance to slow down, reconnect with myself, and be fully present, I eagerly embrace it. It's amazing how happiness naturally emerges when we stay grounded and let go of what no longer serves us. I enjoy rediscovering familiar treasures and experiencing them anew each time. At first, I saw Pilates and Yoga as simple workouts with clear endpoints, but over time, I've realized they offer a beautiful journey. With over 25 years of practicing these mindful disciplines, I encourage myself and others to explore deeper purpose and meaning in life. My aim is to foster joy and grace in every movement, both on and off the mat. I teach from personal experience, genuinely practicing what I share, reflecting on the roots of Pilates and the truths of Yoga to deepen that connection. Ultimately, I hope to inspire my students to be brave and step outside their comfort zones.
Beyond the practice space, I am proud to be the Founder and Owner of The Grounded Frog, a welcoming Pilates and yoga studio in downtown Chestertown. I also serve as CEO and 'Boss Lady' to my wonderful husband, Paul, and our two lively teenage daughters—a role I've cherished for over 20 years. Our family lives on a farm in Rock Hall, Maryland, surrounded by three dogs—LY, Dolly, and Rock—and three cats—Trout, Tilly, and PP. I deeply value my friends, family, and clients. Every day, we build a community full of love, laughter, friendship, adventure, and growth in this extraordinary place.

Spotlight on Excellence: Classical Pilates with Gina Nostrant
"The excellence of a Pilates class rests entirely on the instructor- and Gina Nostrant is among the very best.
